Chess set made of dolls!

This is a chess set that I am working on under the instruction of Monika Shedden. The pattern is an Elinor Peace-Bailey. Elinor has many patterns on her website. You can find her easily with google. We are having a fabulous time taking this class at the Quilt Rack in Ancaster. These are all the little pawns, 2 knights and a rook in the background. I have a few more little dollies to go to complete the set!

Darla the Diva

This was a fun class led by Monika Shedden in Ancaster at Quilt Rack www.thequiltrack.ca . Very fun! The doll's design is by.......I can't remember atm. It will come to me. If you want to see her in person she is on display at the Quilt Rack until Saturday along with Monika's creation.

Thanks Mom and Dad!!

While I was away in Punta Cana, my wonderful Mom and Dad picked up a desk for me. It was a great sale that I didn't want to miss while away.

Well, they had quite an adventure moving it in their little Vibe, but with the determination of both my stubborn parents, they made it happen! Love ya!

I will post pics of the new desk in the craft room soon. It looks so different.

Work is fabulous and busy! In Dec, we were in San Antonio!

Just recently (monday) we returned from Punta Cana. Sorry you can't all come to work with me! hehe

No stamping as of late-I should do something about that. It is all about balance, after all.

Nothing new

Nothing new on the horizon.  I have been doing a bit of quilling.  Our camera is on the fritz atm so no pics yet.  Very cute projects.

Still in school-yuck.  It is time consuming but actually interesting this semester.

Story Teller finished!

This is a class I took from Monika Shedden.  She is a wonderful doll maker from Dundas Ontario.  She is a great teacher-look how detailed Earl is!  This was my first try at free motion embroidery on the cloak and also eye lids for his eyes.  This is my fourth doll.  Thanks to Monika for being patient as I learned these new techniques!
