This is the first layout in my board book. The letters have crystal effects on top of them so they looked embossed . This is a fun process.

Coasters and Matchboxes

I can't remember where I CASEd this from, but it is not my original idea. There are four small matchboxes between 2 coasters. I covered the coasters and the sides of the matchboxes with patterned paper. I added hardware as drawer pulls. How cute is that?! Well, I found out who I CASEd this from. If you want to try it out HERE is the tutorial. Thank you Julie Mutch!

Board book-Step three

This is step three-creating our first background. Various mediums were used including acrylic paints, DTP inking and metallic rub ons. Our next step will be to decorate/collage this page. I have selected a quote for my book. It will be a surprise as I create the rest!

New Year's 2008 card

This is my New Year's card creation for 2008. I have also included a matching matchbook calendar when I send this card. I received some very nice gifts over the Holidays. I will send this to those people as well as the people I missed sending a Christmas card. New Year's cards are great. I think that they can be sent during the whole month of January so you have time to do some too! Stamps are from Stampin Up. The calendar was made in excel.
