First knitted project using my own hand spun yarn

This is a scarf and fingerless gloves knitted from my own hand spun yarn. It is navy superwash merino fleece. The yarn turned out fantastic and it was a pleasure to knit with. These were a gift for my sil. I hope she liked them!

Zombies!

Oh my gosh. These guys are so cute. They are from the book Zombie Felties by Nicola Tedman and Sarah Skeate. Neat little guys that are approximately 2 1/2 inches tall. Tiny little creatures that are all hand sewn.

New card idea....

A friend of mine gave me this stamp years ago. I love the image. The little tatted edging and this stamp are calling to me (they really do, they all know my name)

Chess set still in progress

Still working on Elinor Peace Bailey's chess set. It is a large undertaking with 32 pieces! I am pressing on though and hope to be done in a week or two so I can move on to some other projects in the studio.

Must love silk!

This is beautifully dyed mulberry silk. It is more difficult to spin than traditional sheep/alpaca roving but I think the end product will be amazing.
