I haven't done any quilling for a while.  I got a bit rusty at it.  This is just a simple little card.

This tree was done using embossing paste.  The brass stencil is from Dreamweavers.

Piece of Cake birthday

This is another brass stencil.  You can never go wrong with chocolate cake!  The paper was sanded after it was dry embossed.

Birthday Cupcake

This is a brass stencil of a cupcake.  I dry embossed the lower part, then coloured with chalks.  The frosting is 'whipped paper fluff'.  It adds great dimension to your artwork.

I placed a tiny book in the hole of the board book. Here it is open.

Final Layout in the board book

This is the final layout in the board book. The buckle is shown closed here. It opens another tiny book. The quote is written again in the tiny book. This tutorial was hosted by the moderator of ABCanada, an altered book yahoo group. I had a great time exploring different mediums in this project.

Alice all dressed up!

This is Alice all finished. This was such a neat project to work on. I didn't have the proper pencils and pens for the face, so don't look too closely! I have learned a lot as this was my first try at making a cloth doll.

These are my doll's clothes. I named the doll Alice. She has a hat, blouse, jacket, skirt and camiknickers. How cute is that?!
